Anti-Crack Mortar

Features

-Form a strong protective layer with fiber glass mesh;

-Solve the cracking problems between insulation materials and surface materials due to different thermal conductivity;

-Ensure the protective layer has anti-crack and waterproof properties;

-Prevent hollowness, cracking, peeling off phenomenon occur.

Technical Report

(The following tests were commissioned by Sichuan Provincial Academy of Building Research)

Instruction

1. Mortar: water = 25:6.25 (weight ratio), firstly, mix with water for 10 to 15 minutes and let it stand about 5 minutes, then stir for 5 minutes.

2. Use steel trowel or spatula evenly spread anti-crack mortar for a layer slightly larger than the mesh (Thickness depending on the design requirements). 

3. Overlap between the mesh should not less than 50mm, and the mesh should not be folded, hollowed, edged.

4. After the mesh embedded in the anti-crack mortar, make it smooth, and not exposed to outside.
